Two Years in the Studio Bring TOMER’s North Into Focus

Developed alongside producer Dor Daniel, TOMER’s forthcoming 10-track album is set for 2027, with three singles planned before its release and the first currently anticipated in February.

TOMER will return with North in 2027, following two years of work with producer Dor Daniel. His first full-length album draws from an extensive collection of songs written after a temporary move to Los Angeles, eventually refined into a ten-track record.

The project follows Foretold, his seven-song debut EP released in 2023. During that period, TOMER performed across Tel Aviv, Kyiv, and Los Angeles, taking the stage at Tmuna Club, Bel Etage, The Viper Room, and The Mint. He released a separate single later that year before turning his attention to the next chapter of his recorded work.

The time since his last release has been devoted to writing, composing, producing, and recording. That sustained work now forms the foundation of North, expanding on his debut with a full album developed through an extensive selection and recording process.

Shaping the Record

North began with hundreds of songs. After writing in Los Angeles, TOMER reduced that collection to a few dozen tracks and shared them with Daniel. Over the next two years, the pair worked through the material, developing the ten songs chosen for the album.

Live drums, bass, and guitars were central to the recordings. In the studio, TOMER and Daniel explored how the songs would take shape through their instrumentation, arrangements, and performances, giving each track time to develop within the larger project.

The resulting album brings together several stages of that process, from the initial writing sessions to the final studio recordings, marking TOMER’s progression from his first EP to a full-length release.

The Road to North

Three singles are planned to introduce the album: “You Deserve Better,” “Half A Broken Heart,” and “Billionaire.” The first is currently expected in February 2027, although the release sequence and exact dates remain unconfirmed. Music-video shoots are also planned as part of the rollout.

A tour is intended to follow the album, with summer 2027 under consideration. Performance dates and locations have yet to be announced.

As the release approaches, the singles will begin to reveal the material TOMER and Daniel have spent two years developing. North will bring that work together in 2027, presenting ten songs selected from a much broader period of writing and exploration.
